Laura El-Tantawy is a freelance photographer currently based in London, UK. She studied journalism & political science at the University of Georgia (Athens, GA - USA) & started her career as a newspaper photographer. Her work has appeared in National Geographic magazine, Harper's, The Guardian (UK), Saudi Aramco World magazine & several on-line publications. She is affiliated with Africa Pictures & Gaia Photos.
